Afghanistan and Australia 50 years of diplomatic relations

On the 19th Aug 2019 the Massoud Foundation Australia’s executive members attended the 100th Anniversary of Afghanistan’s Reclamation of Independence alongside the 50th Anniversary of Afghan-Australian diplomatic relations in Sydney at the NSW Parliament hosted by the Afghanistan Embassy in Australia. The Afghanistan Australia relations were established on 30th March 1969. Australia has been home for thousands of Afghan Australians and supported Afghanistan in the fields of security, education, rebuilding and humanitarian assistance.
